Ozzie Nogg: Adding more pieces . . .
Hello, dear ones.
Yes, I'm still the Rabbi's Daughter. Always will be.
But I've chosen to move out of Poppa's shtetl
and into a place with more emphasis on
and less on
what used to be.
(I may, however, allow myself an occasional wallow in the past. I mean, c'mon . . .)
This remains the location of my very short fiction, poems,
personal essays, photos and odd scraps of crone commentary.
A blog in which
I stitch pieces of my life
into one slightly wonky and not-quite perfectly sewn crazy quilt.
Thanks for sharing your time with me.
Let's do it again, okay?
Good day, dears . . .
Today is the second anniversary of
Donald John Trump’s Inauguration Address
delivered on January 20, 2017 in Washington D.C.
And so I'm back
(at least for the moment)
with an erasure poem.
Click on BLOG above
to read the orange man's entire inauguration speech.
Every single original word
visible in light gray.
Those words were pretty darn scary when we first heard them . . .
Now, focus on the words in BF Black
and read what hides in plain sight between the lines.
One way or another we'll survive.
This comes with much love and hope.
